Furthermore, in recent years, increasing geopolitical risks have caused supply chain disruptions, highlighting the many issues that need to be resolved in order to realize a sustainable society.

In such an environment, the business of the Group, a comprehensive manufacturer of industrial gases, plays the role of an "industrial infrastructure" that supports all industries. Since our founding, in the spirit of "Selling gas is selling safety," we have been contributing to the development of industries as well as solving the problems of our many customers by supplying products utilizing various superior elemental technologies we have developed over the years for various industries and business sectors such as chemicals, steel, nonferrous metals, glass, electronics, food, and medical care. In addition, with our group's products and services, which utilize these technologies, we are contributing to solving environmental and social issues in order to realize a sustainable society.

Sustainability of the global environment is an extremely important issue for the Group, which benefits from air as a resource. We will further improve the energy efficiency of our production facilities and expand the use of renewable energy, thereby contributing to the realization of a worldwide carbon-neutral society. In addition, we aim to contribute to a sustainable society by promoting the active participation of diverse human resources, especially women, under the "Nippon Sanso Diversity and Inclusion Declaration".
