Nippon Sanso Corporation (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Kenji Nagata; hereinafter “NSC”) hereby announces its decision to revise the shipment prices of helium gas as outlined below.

1. Applicable products:
　Helium gas-related products
　Cylinders, bundles, trailers, liquid helium, mixture gases, and special gases

2. Schedule:
　Effective for shipments beginning in July 2026

3. Price increases:
　Average increase of 30% or more from current shipment prices

4. Reasons for the revision:
The supply environment for helium has significantly deteriorated due to production suspensions in the Middle East and the consequent tightening of global supply constraints. Although there have recently been indications of some improvement in the regional situation, it is expected that a full recovery of the supply chain to normal conditions will require a considerable period of time. These developments have also adversely affected imports into Japan, and the domestic market continues to experience a persistent imbalance between supply and demand.

Under such circumstances, NSC has been compelled to procure helium at substantially elevated costs. Furthermore, the depreciation of the Japanese yen has markedly increased raw material expenses. These factors cannot be regarded as temporary; rather, they represent structural changes driven by global supply constraints.

NSC has undertaken various measures, including cost reductions and operational efficiency improvements. However, the surge in raw material costs has exceeded the level that can be absorbed through such internal efforts. Accordingly, NSC has made the decision to implement the present price revision.

It should be noted that the supply environment is expected to remain severe even after the implementation of this revision. While NSC will continue to make every effort to ensure a stable supply, adjustments to supply volumes and delivery schedules may be necessary depending on prevailing conditions.
